Waltham Abbey 1 - 0 Mildenhall Town

A competitive game, overshadowed by a red card for goalkeeper Josh Pope in the first half. Adam Capel put on the gloves and kept a clean sheet. But Waltham Abbey took the lead after only 9 minutes with a glancing header into the corner from a great cross.

Despite playing the whole second half with 10 men, we never looked completely out of it, despite looking a bit vulnerable at times. But neither team really had clear cut chances in the second half.

We had a few decent chances but barely won a header in their box as their defenders dominated.

As the game went on and both teams used their subs we actually looked more likely to score but alas they held strong.

With this defeat we drop 3 places to 14th with 1 point from 2 games.
