Clayden's review
“We’re looking to get a walking football section going at the football club. It’ll be fun and good exercise for you! Are you interested?”
A few words from Crayden, one of our long term participants of MTFC walking football
Well, I had only been to the football club for their fireworks but I had enjoyed playing football at school breaks but the “jumpers for goal posts” was a long time ago for me…and just over a year later, I’m still going. It's been everything - fun, good exercise and meeting new people.
There is a wide range of players of differing skills and ages but it's all very supportive - it really is the taking part that counts.
A big shout out to the coaches for organising the weekly sessions on the WhatsApp group - so easy to let others know if you're making it that evening or not. No pressure to be there every week - basically, be there if you can!
