An old friends comes for a visit

What a pleasure it was to have Steve visit ‘The Hall again yesterday, so pleased he enjoyed it. So many people loved seeing him there 🧡🖤

We had a very special day yesterday as we made Steve's wish to watch the football team that he used to manage, happen.

For a number of years, Steve was the manager of Mildenhall Town Football Club and we were delighted to have the opportunity to take Steve and his wife, Karen, to watch the August Bank Holiday local derby against another one of the football clubs that Steve was associated with, Cambridge City Football Club.

Steve was greeted by officials of both clubs and saw several of his old acquaintances who were delighted to see him and Karen for the first time in many years and enjoyed reminiscing about their time spent together on and off the pitch.

It was a pleasure to be part of this and we are very proud that we were able to grant Steve his wish. Many thanks to both clubs for making Steve feel so welcome.
