⚽ Mildenhall Town U10s vs Cambourne Town U10 Pumas ⚽

In a windy but sunny morning at the Hub, Mildenhall U10s battled hard against a strong Cambourne Pumas side in this league fixture.

Cambourne started quickly, striking twice in the opening minutes, but Mildenhall held their heads up and played some lovely football. Rhian’s pace on the wing, Charlie’s determination in defence, and Kieran’s composure at the back helped the team settle, while Oscar impressed in midfield, linking play and driving the ball forward. The lads created plenty of chances, with Rory, Oscar and Rhian all hitting the woodwork, but the Pumas’ defence stood firm.

The final quarter saw Mildenhall’s persistence rewarded. Rhian smashed home a powerful strike, Rory calmly tapped in after James C’s clever pass, Oscar confidently finished from Rhian’s corner, and Rhian added his second late on. The boys’ hard work, passing, and teamwork finally turned pressure into goals, lifting spirits all around the pitch.

Both Liam and Barnie were kept busy in goal, producing some excellent saves, while Jack and Ronnie worked tirelessly to keep the ball moving through midfield. James C showed great vision to create chances for the attacking players, adding energy when needed.

👏 Player of the Match went to Oscar, who was a constant presence in midfield, showing skill, determination, and creativity throughout.

A tough but encouraging performance from the team, who never gave up and finished the game strongly in front of their supportive crowd. 💛🖤
