Report submitted to Non-League Football Newspaper:
The whole game was a very quiet affair with few half chances with both defences taking control and snuffing out what chances there were. Ben Nolan, with his speed, control and crossing was always a threat but Mildenhall Town struggled at times to put him in possession.
It was Nolan that scored first after 20 minutes, following a neat through ball from Callum Anderson and he slotted home, low past the keeper.
The second half carried on in the same way, and it was down to Mildenhall Town substitutes Ryan Swift and Jarid Robson to combine, with the latter netting from close range, following a great cross.
Stotfold had very little going forwards and any chances were handled well by the defence and keeper Finley Iron.
Mildenhall Town ran out deserved winners in the end.
